DECEMBER 7 ΔΕΚΕΜΒΡΙΟΥ 2011-ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥΓΕΝΝΙΑΤΙΚΗ ΓΙΟΡΤΗ-CHRISTMAS PARTY

Dear Parents,
On Saturday, December 17th, Aristotele’s Credit School – Eastern Commerce will be celebrating the Christmas holidays on our final day of classes with a party, organized by the Parent Council of our school. The Greektown on the Danforth BIA has graciously sponsored this event.

At 10:00 a.m., the students of our school, accompanied by their teachers, will walk to the Alexander the Great Square at Danforth and Logan, the heart of Greektown. Upon their arrival, students will take a few commemorative pictures and will have the opportunity to meet business representatives of the BIA. By 11:00 a.m., students will return to Eastern Commerce for the party.
For your child(ren) to participate in this event, please sign the permission form (it has been sent to you electronically and as a hard copy) and have your child return it on the day of the event to their teacher.
The Education Department of the Greek Community of Toronto would like to thank you very much for your help and support during this first semester of studies. We hope you will continue to support our program in the upcoming year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2012!

November 19, 2011

Dear Parent(s),

At the last Parent Council meeting, the following events and activities were decided upon for our children for this school year:

1.  Christmas Party - at Eastern - last class before the Christmas Break
2.  New Year’s Vasilopita - one vasilopita for each class for the New Year
3.  Winter Dance - early February - at The Polymenakion Greek Community Centre
4.  Soccer  Tournament - early June - location to be determined
5.  Semi-Formal Dance - in May - the Council will support this event as necessary
6.  Graduation Ceremony - in June - the council will support this event as necessary
(e.g. photo plaque for each graduate; awards for highest achieving graduates)

In order to provide our children with these wonderful opportunities, we require your contribution.  In lieu of fundraising, the Parent Council decided it would be more efficient to request parents to pay $20 per family to help cover some of the costs of these activities.
Please fill in the form below and have your child return it to his/her teacher along with your contribution.

If you are not on our e-mail list and would like to receive regular updates from our
Parent Council, please e-mail us at fayeseretis@rogers.com to be added to our list.

Thank you for supporting us in helping to make your child’s experience at Aristotelis a memorable one!

Sincerely,

Parent Council
